The House is proud to unveil its latest creation as part of the World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie (WPHH) 2024: the Cintrée Curvex Double Retrograde Hour. This timepiece is distinguished by a double retrograde hour complication, offering a unique way to read time.
The Cintrée Curvex Double Retrograde Hour features two retrograde sectors: one upper arc for the day hours (from 6 AM to 6 PM), and another lower arc for the night hours (from 6PM to 6 AM).
Unlike a traditional hour hand, which makes a full rotation around a central axis. The Cintrée Curvex Double Retrograde Hours displays the time with two hour hands, each moving along an arc. When the upper and lower hour hand reach 6PM and 6AM respectively, they instantly jump back to their starting position.
